First Year at Uni
I graduated with my AA degree in 2024. And in 2025 I began my journey at a 4 year University.
I finally moved out on my own! This was neccessary in order for me to attend the college I wanted to go to.
The first semester was enjoyable. However, life threw me curveball after curveball. I had health issues, housing issues, money issues... and I had to learn oil painting?! It was a lot. I wound up getting 4 As and a B+, so I did well on the school side of things.
I also moved to a new place after getting kicked out. And things are okay here so far. Hoping everything stays good so I can just live here without having to uproot mid semester like I had to last time.
It's only a couple weeks into this new semester. I have only 4 classes, and only one is in my major. But all are GE requirements, so I am still making progress towards my degree.
I don't really know what degree I'm going for. Art Education? Illustration? Animation?? I have no clue ! I'm applying for a concentration this semester. If I don't get into Illustration or Animation, I'm probably going to switch to Art Education. You don't have to audition for Art Education, but there are portfolio reviews for the other two.
