Cheesy Mallow Biscuits Recipe
This is a recipe I made up on 2/20/24.
Mallow is a common weed that is safe to eat and foragable in much of the USA, particularly common here in California.
You will need:
✓ 1 + 1/2 cups chopped mallow
✓ 1 roll of Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits
✓ 3 TBSP French Onion Dip
✓ 1 TBSP Chopped or Minced Onions
✓ 1/8 cup shredded cheese
✓ muffin baking tin + cupcake paper liners
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F - as per instructions on the bicuit package
2. Chop the onions and the mallow
3. Mix mallow, onions, French Onion dip, and shredded cheese in a bowl until all is combined
4. Take the biscuits out of the roll. Cut 1/3rd off of each biscuit, to turn 8 biscuits into 12
5. Put cupcake liners into the cupcake/muffin tin
6. Add the dough to each cupcake mould, flattening the dough to line it as it it were a miniature pie or tart. You will add 2/3rds of a biscuit to each
7. Add a spoonful of the mallow/onion dip mixture into the center of each biscuit. Flatten everything so it is all level
8. Put it in the oven for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown on top
You did it! You made a cheesy biscuit with foraged mallow! Enjoy~
