It's gay and made me cry. Beautifully written. Only 4 stars because the ending was a bit too sad for me.

A funny and punny story, with interesting art and amazing fight scenes. Would have liked it better if there was more to the story.

Accurately and artfully depicts the most prominent mythos surrounding the Greek God Dionysus.

A silly comic series. The idea behind it is a bit dry, but the art and jokes are moderately enjoyable. A quick read.

I liked this one even better than A Wrinkle in Time. Absolutely stunning storytelling, emotionally moving and highly imaginative. Now I know what goes on in the power house of the cell.

A thrilling read. A wonderful blend of Native American mysticism and Euro-American realism.

It pained me to read this.

An absolute classic and must read simply because it is the crux of modern sci-fi. However, imo it has aged poorly, as it is misogynistic and a sausage fest.

An interesting and enjoyable read. A bit too much navel gazing for my taste. I do like the dynamic and unique female characters.

Absolutely enthralling. Terrible. Very racist and sexist and many other -ists I can't even think of. But it is honest. Too honest. The zing of Thompson's writing is everything that makes this good. Had to dock 2 stars for all the -isms, though.

A passionte work of writing that is both sci-fi/fantasy and like a slice of time in a book. Quintessential of the 1890s. A bit misogynistic, but not too much so. Quite ableist and slightly racist, hence only 4 stars. Saving grace of the whole story, truth be told, is how much everyone loves Mina (rightfully so).

Hilarious but also very ableist and mean. I like a lot of the scifi, but find the humor lacking when it focuses solely on intelligence and various mental illnesses. Still, when the jokes land, they hit like no other.

Very informative, eye-opening, and heartbreaking. Highly recommend reading this if you are desiring to educate yourself about the US prison system.

Absolutely fascinating. Through this text I have realized that science is the evolved form of theology, as both strive towards the same goal of understanding life and the world we live in. Science, in particular physics and its progression from the classics to our modern particle, astro, and quantum physics, gets closer than theology ever could to the truths of our reality.

Accurately predicts the future of Israel-- the Israel we see in the news today. Discusses the consequences of a Zionist state that lacks the self awareness to keep the Jewish people from becoming the very enemy they were persecuted by.
